A rugged coastline, an exanimate body in the sand: Few intense shots orchestrate a 'nature morte'. Blowflies in close-up view sparkle like gems. Their bustling movements across nostrils and teeth dominate the scene for quite a while until the flood approaches and a tenacious struggle with the heavy carcass begins. This is Caravaggio by means of video art.
